Bus Pass #004 – The first real adventure for Twist of Fate was to Black Rock City Nevada for Burning Man 2010 – Metropolis. Camping with the Spoon Return Center on the 430 Playa. The Adventure continued through to Earthdance, at the hub event in Laytonville. After returning home to SoCal, Twist was a huge part of San Diego Decompression, combining with Bramble for the Twist of Bramble Stage at Youtopia. In the future, these tickets will be worth something as we will be running contests with giveaways to those who hold a particular ticket, certain # of tickets, etc, so be sure to collect them all!

Bus Pass #003 holds some special meaning to us. It’s a combo pass for the C.H.A.M.P.S. Expo & Champion Massive in Las Vegas and the San Diego Indoor Grow Expo at the Scottish Rite Center.
Since we were headed to Vegas we decided on the stratosphere as a good iconic piece of imagery for our card. It wasn’t until we were driving underneath the stratosphere that we realized we should probably make a stop in Seattle since we had mistakenly put the Space Needle on the card. We had a good laugh for sure. In the future, these tickets will be worth something as we will be running contests with giveaways to those who hold a particular ticket, certain # of tickets, etc, so be sure to collect them all!

Our First Trip!! Twist’s first stop…. San Fransisco for Phish at the Greek in Berkeley and Global Sol. The first ticket in our series. Designed by our bustender Chris Hansen. This limited edition #002 (2010002) ticket is truly the first edition, as we never made a ticket #001. For each major trip we will be designing a new ticket featuring new artists and destinations with each printing being small and exclusive. In the future, these tickets will be worth something as we will be running contests with giveaways to those who hold a particular ticket, certain # of tickets, etc, so be sure to collect them all!

Twisted Twillights, our exclusive signature excursion. The idea was born while rocking early morning DJ sets on the playa. Now, you and up to 13 of your closest friends will be whisked away in Twist and delivered in style to the sunset or sunrise location of your choice across Southern California.
When does the party begin? The minute you step foot on the bus. Twisted Twillights are a great way to throw your own unique party, without the club or the desert. Packages have a 4hr minimum.
We provide DJ’s, DJ Equipment, Driver, Outside Mackie Sound System and Power.

Twist of Fate made it’s first appearance in Las Vegas, visiting the C.H.A.M.P.S. Expo and the Champion Massive Afterparty where Bramble DJ’s Chris Gardener & Marklar spun with Miss Genesis outside the Artisan Hotel. The ride out through the desert was amazingly hot, cast and crew held it down once we arrived though. The Artisan Hotel was like this old high end mansion with crazy art everywhere, I mean everywhere, elevators, ceilings, everywhere. The Fire & Ice Dancers did their thing, dazzling the more or less unexposed to some serious fire dancing. Christopher Jessness wanted to bring the taste of some true underground to his party, ToF and it’s crew delivered.

Twist of Fate’s official call to duty came last summer in San Fransisco. Working late through the night, everyone was scrambling to get Twist of Fate on the road headed north. As crew waited overnight, ready to leave the moment the last touche were put on. IT felt a bit like an episode of iron chef meets pimp my ride.
On the road, Anthony Bottoli dropped 6+ hour set on the raod for some passengers eargerly wanting beats stuffed in their ears. This was our first introduction to Twists’ new sound system…. uhh. OMG. The beats continued through SF and onto Max Yeild’s Indoor Gardening Show where Twist provided music for the outside crowd.

Soon after Burning Man, we were contacted by the folks from Bramble Republic and San Diego Decompression to be part of their Youtopia 2010 event at the La Jolla Indian Reservation. The event sold out in advance and Twist played host to an epic stage. With a custom constructed DJ booth looking down from the second floor, Twist loomed in the forest, blasting beats from DJ’s like Treavor Moontribe, Chris Gardener, Kombat, Aragon, and Willy.
